The carbon raw materials used in different industries and uses are also different.   1. Natural graphite is the graphite naturally formed in nature, generally appearing in minerals such as graphite schist, graphite gneiss, graphite containing schist, and metamorphic shale. Due to its lower carbon content than artificial graphite, it is widely used in low-carbon graphite products, such as carbon bricks, electrode paste, carbon refractory materials, etc.
  2. Regenerated graphite is mainly a type of graphite product produced using asphalt binder with a certain proportion of artificial graphite electrode powder. Due to its low cost and simple production process, it is commonly used in some low-cost smelting furnaces. However, due to its high resistance and poor flexural strength, it is prone to breakage losses during use.
  3. Graphite electrodes belong to a type of artificial graphite product.   4. There are graphite products with different particle sizes of 0.8-5mm in medium to coarse graphite. The smaller the particle size, the stricter the production process requirements, and the higher the corresponding production cost. Of course, different graphite products require the use of graphite raw materials with different particles.
  5. High purity graphite, also known as molded graphite, has multiple levels of products, including one immersion and two roasting, two immersion and three roasting, and three immersion and four roasting. Due to its small particle size (calculated by eyes), complex production process, and high product level, it is the most widely used graphite raw material for graphite products, used in various industries such as metallurgy, molds, chemical industry, aerospace, and mechanical parts.
  6. Isostatic pressing graphite is currently the most advanced raw material for carbon graphite products. Due to its complex production process, long cycle, high requirements for production equipment and technology, it is widely used in the photovoltaic and vacuum furnace smelting industries. Some special isostatic pressing graphite is also used in the aerospace and nuclear manufacturing industries.
